Because Results Matter

The light energy emitted by the device offers two different options: Full-field or fractional. The full field approach renews the entire skin surface by removing the top layer of damaged cells. This approach is appropriate for significantly aging, wrinkled, discolored, severely damaged skin. Fractional skin resurfacing works by the removal of pinpoint areas of skin, with the surrounding tissues left intact, for faster healing.

What is a Sciton Laser?

The Sciton Laser system is one of the most advanced aesthetic devices available worldwide. Laser skin resurfacing with Sciton works by precise removal of the upper layer of skin, causing your skin to generate new, healthy skin cells. The skin surface, once healed, will appear smoother, brighter, firmer, with areas of hyperpigmentation resolved.

What is a Sciton Laser treatment like?

The first step to skin rejuvenation is an in-depth analysis of your skin. Your skin will be prepared for the treatment, cleansed, and a topical anesthetic applied. When the numbing effect is achieved, the laser is slowly moved over the damaged area.

You will feel a snapping sensation against your skin during treatment. The length of the procedure varies based on the number of skin flaws requiring resolution and takes from fifteen to thirty minutes to complete.

What Sciton Laser treatments are
available?

The Sciton Laser system is the most effective and powerful skin rejuvenation device available in the USA, and provides a range of custom skin renewal and repair treatments:

  • HALO™ Fractional Laser Skin Resurfacing
  • Contour Tunable Resurfacing Laser (TRL) with full face resurfacing
  • MicroLaserPeel
  • NanoLaserPeel
  • ProFractional™ laser skin resurfacing
  • BBL™ Photofacial
  • BBL Forever Young

What is the recovery like?

Your skin will be red and may scab, with some peeling. Some swelling is to be expected, which can be treated with the application of ice packs. You will have a post-treatment recovery plan which includes carefully cleansing the skin several times a day, and the application of a moisturizing product we recommend. Once your skin has fully healed, the fresh new layer of skin has replaced your damaged skin. It will be firmer, clearer, and more youthful, with areas of hyperpigmentation resolved.

How long does it take to recover after a Sciton Laser treatment?

Depending on the depth of the treatment, you can expect a recovery time of between three and seven days. For extensive skin resurfacing to correct more serious skin flaws, you may require two weeks of healing before you are ready to venture out.

What can Sciton Laser skin resurfacing
do for my skin?

  • Age spots
  • Sun spots
  • Freckles
  • Acne scars
