Traveling patients begin with a virtual consultation. This secure video appointment allows you to meet with Dr. Stark or Dr. Campbell, review your anatomy, discuss goals, and determine whether surgery is appropriate before making travel plans.

Traveling to Philadelphia

We request that you travel to Philadelphia at least 24 hours prior to surgery to meet Dr. Stark or Dr. Campbell and the StarkMD team. For procedures such as facelifts or mommy makeovers, patients are generally advised to remain in the area for 7–10 days for early follow-up and suture removal. Less invasive procedures may allow for earlier travel home between 24 and 72 hours, depending on recovery and your surgeon’s guidance.

Recovery Support

Your safety and comfort during recovery are essential. Depending on your procedure, StarkMD offers two recovery pathways:

In-Facility Overnight Recovery Suite

For patients who require clinical monitoring after surgery. Located on the third floor of our facility, this private suite offers a hospital-level safety environment without a hospital setting.

Rate: $2,500 per night
Includes: Vital sign monitoring, IV nausea management, and catheter care if needed
Amenities: Inpatient buffet or private meal ordering
Caregivers are welcome to stay overnight

Personal Concierge Nursing

For patients recovering at a nearby hotel or residence. This private-duty service provides one-on-one nursing care in your hotel or Airbnb.

Medication administration and drain care

Your Surgical Experience

Your surgery will be performed at a fully accredited facility with our certified anesthesia team. You will be given detailed information about your procedure well in advance. You'll be provided with a detailed recovery timeline, and we'll ensure that you have everything you need to remain as comfortable as possible. You will have concierge-level access to the StarkMD team and your surgeon as you rest and recover after your procedure. You will have a series of follow-up appointments, both on the phone, virtually, and in person, to ensure your safe recovery.
